Work-Related Injuries

These kinds of injuries can happen when a person is required to perform repetitive motions in the course of their work, such as typing or assembly line work, or result from an accident at work. Injuries may include carpel tunnel syndrome, tendinitis or strains, and other musculoskeletal problems related to repeated motions or an unforeseeable injury. Physical therapy treatments focus on decreasing pain and swelling to increase strength and endurance in the affected muscles.

Physical therapy can help you manage these issues, including:

  • Exercises to strengthen and stabilize your core Simulated job activitiesto get you back to work safely and quickly
  • Treatment to decrease pain and improve range of motion
  • Manual therapies
  • Modalities including heat, ice, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation
  • Patient education regarding activities, posture, and biomechanics

Greendale Physical Therapy, LLC helped me regain the strength in my ankles and feet to keep me walking and continue to exercise and golf. The staff are all well skilled, pleasant, and supportive. I would highly recommend them to my friends for PT. They are a great group!
