gymSAFE Gymnastics Screening
What the screen looks for
The gymSAFE Movement Screen identifies “red flags” such as weakness, imbalance or movement problems that can raise a gymnast’s risk of the injuries common in competitive gymnastics. A red flag isn’t an injury. It’s an area worth working on now, so it doesn’t become one later.
What to expect
- A 40-minute, fully individualized session with a physical therapist
- The screen itself takes about 20 minutes
- Your gymnast gets individualized results and feedback right away
- The therapist reviews any areas that need attention
- You leave with a personalized preventative exercise plan
Who performs the screen
Screens are performed by Laura Wiltshire, PT, MSPT, at our Auburn clinic.
Cost
The gymSAFE Movement Screen is a self-pay service at $100 per session, collected at the time of the visit. It is not billed to insurance.

Greendale Physical Therapy, LLC helped me regain the strength in my ankles and feet to keep me walking and continue to exercise and golf. The staff are all well skilled, pleasant, and supportive. I would highly recommend them to my friends for PT. They are a great group!
